It is definitely true that a lot of these people don't deserve to cross over, since they end up showing how little they were prepared to do so afterward. I think that it's a good reminder for everyone that if you're going to try something new, you have to approach is as a newbie. Thanks for commenting!

@ Sheila

I actually like rap music to an extent. The first half of this article was written "in character". I'm glad you liked my writing style. Writing articles like this have a separate purpose in that it shows you who is reading your whole article, and who only read part of it before they commented. *lol*.

But it's all good. Thanks for coming by!

This was good! You got me. When I started reading this post I was going to call you out. How could Trey possibly think it was not OK for rappers to get out there and do something different? just because he doesn't like rap.

Well done!

Hi Trey

I totally know what you mean, some of them are just want to be... I don't even understand how they get the part in the first place!? I wonder if people can see that they are bad acting but still want to watch any way. A kind of like watching a car accident, part of you thing you shouldn't but you just can help it!?

LOL at "Tennis Star Marrier". That's classic. Honestly, I don't hear many people complaining about Golf Players. Otherwise, I would have included them too. Thanks for the reminder though!

@ Armen

Agreed. A person can learn a lot about themselves when they determine whether or not their success in their native vocation was pure luck, or was determined by their will to succeed. Thanks for your comment.

@ Amanda

It IS human nature to try new things when we get comfortable at the old things. For me, I'm starting to get comfortable with my writing skills, so I'm going to start adding pictures to my posts starting next week. This applies to everwhere, and you're right. Entertainers shouldn't be any different. Thanks for commenting!

Hi Trey - I think particularly when we become established at something we want to try something new. Without some novelty things can get boring real fast. Also, maybe it's just a case of the grass always being greener. Anyways, I think it's a natural tendency to always want to be trying new things and established entertainers are no different!

This was a useful turn-around post. There are certainly some people that see the opportunities they have to leverage their success in one field as a jump-start to their attempts in another field. This is useful in most cases, as the person then figures out if they have if they have what it takes to make it in a different aspect of their presentation.
