Let’s Get To The Heart Of The Matter

Up until now, I’ve used Swollen Thumb Entertainment as an outlet for my motivational speaking in an attempt to encourage more people to express themselves through the magic of artistic expression, and to encourage people to try to start a career out of their art.  After that, I started to use this site as a platform to discuss the pros and cons of the entertainment industry.  Lately, I’ve been transitioning into also using it as a showcase for artistic expression, as I’ve been using the regularity of this blog as an excuse to display my drawing skills, and to get better at them.

None of this is going to change, as these are all staples of Swollen Thumb Entertainment.  However, with my self imposed deadline for original forms of entertainment drawing near, I want to officially reach out to every writer out there who wants a place to showcase his or her writing.  I’m looking for poems, short stories, long stories, whatever, as long as it’s your original work, free and clear of any copyright issues.

I’m not looking to own your work, and I’m not looking to take credit for anything.  What I want to do is to give you a chance to have readers of all backgrounds and demographics to discover your work, and give you a place to hone and refine your work.  Plus, I want to work towards offering my readers an all purpose entertainment hub right here at this site.
