Here is another free track. I was going to put this track on my album “Lighting The Fuse” before I concluded that I didn’t want to put any instrumentals on there. Just like “Electro Loop” this is an instrumental that doesn’t have any lyrics or words. The title represents me, as I am waging a war against the establishment of the music industry. I originally posted this song on Soundclick last October, and got a little bit of positive feedback, which tells me that I’m going in the right direction with this album.

Trey Baird is an artist, writer, videographer, graphic designer, electronic musician, and all around unique person who refuses to live a typical life.
Trey’s been on both sides of the tracks, seen things from many perspectives, and holds an unwavering desire to look at all points of view before having an opinion on anything. This, coupled with a natural drive to express himself as an artist motivates him to speak out on many issues.
Never one to settle down and simply live life, Trey always has at least 10 projects in his mind that he wants to complete. And now, with a forum to launch those projects, the sky is the limit.
Trey currently lives in O'Fallon, IL with his wife, Julia.
I checked out your song. I am a fairly big fan of techno and electronic music. It was good (not great). I would have liked to hear some depth to the sound, but over all its not bad.
I’d encourage you to try some non-computer generated instruments and recording techniques.
I will keep listening and look forward to more releases.
I appreciate the feedback, and I take all real feedback seriously. I consider real feedback to be the kind that aims to build up instead of destroy.
With you being a fan of techno and electronic music, I advise that those genres have a lot of gimmicks and cliches, which I try very hard to avoid, (Unless they are my own gimmicks or cliches). There’s very little in those genres to break new ground, and that’s how the artists like it, because they are able to stay in their comfort zones. I’d like to know what some of your favorite electronic artists are though.
As far as using non computer generated instruments, that approach goes against what I’m doing with this project. Plus I’m not huge on using samples a lot, because a lot of composers hide behind their samples. Hip hop is NOTORIOUS for this. When I use a sample, it’s because I have chosen to use it, and it’s not due to the convenience.
Thanks a lot, and I hope you check out the remaining tracks on “Lighting The Fuse”, because the best tracks are yet to come. This is just setting the tone.
