Today, Michael Jackson collapsed at his home, and was rushed to a local hospital where he later passed away.  He was only 50 years old.

I’ve actually been working on a Michael Jackson article in the past few weeks, and I may still post it, but I just wanted to say that as a musician, Michael Jackson has had as much of an influence on the way I make music than any other other artist, and probably more.  He truly was a revolutionary artist, and was a genius behind in the studio.

Which is a shame because he will probably be remembered mostly for his bizarre activities outside of the studio and the allegations of being a child molester.  I hope that history will remember him for what he contributed to the music industry, and for the happiness that he brought to everyone with his music, and not for the allegations in which were never proven to be true.

The world will not be the same without Michael Jackson.  I know that he’s had a rough time in the past decade, and I hope that he is now at peace.
