Hi and thanks for this wonderful post. I already use Twittley on my site and love it.

My only problem with Twittley is that there are not enough categories and child categories. Would be nice if there were a wider choice.

We, the internet generation, are very much into quick results, and we all have A.D.D. If we have to waste a lot of time trying to get something done, it probably won’t happen, which is why I like this plugin. I hope you try it out!

Right on! I hope to get on the front page myself, but seeing as how I got into it later than you, we’ll see how well that works out.

Twittley isn’t the only plugin that does this, but it is, in my opinion, the best. Your articles would benefit, because I always feel motivated after I read them, and I think more people should check them out.

Right now, Twittley isn’t super crowded, so it’s not impossible to get on the front page

I totally agree with you there! In fact, I’ve had articles I submitted make it to the front page several times already!

Hi Trey – You are absolutely right about making things easy for your readers. When I am reading blogs I’m much more likely to “vote” for it when a button is right there in front of me. This seems like a nice little plugin. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thanks for dropping by! I agree with you about the creators. I probably wouldn’t have written this article if they weren’t that way. Great plugins are a dime a dozen these days, but it really impressed me how involved Joel and Goran are with Twittley!

I’m the same way. I refused to go see Titanic, because I felt that it didn’t need my money at the time. And you can check my archives, I don’t throw praise around very often for plugins. Thanks for checking it out!

Right now, Twittley isn’t super crowded, so it’s not impossible to get on the front page, but that may change once people realize how cool this lil’ button is.

You may have actually convinced me to try Twitter and Twittley. I’m not a bandwagon-er either – hell, sometimes I avoid things simply because they are so popular (yeah, I’ve never seen “Titanic” or “Forrest Gump” just on principle).

Well, I do believe you hit the nail on the head there pal… Twittley certainly is (in my opinion) going to skyrocket and I’m definitely glad I’m on the ground floor as well.

I’m also glad that I have built a sort of “friendship” with the creators of the Twittley system! The guys over at Twittley are great people and they genuinely care about their users (which is hard to find anymore)
