I don’t know if you’re in the minority per se, if you don’t like game shows. I think that the people who like them are in the minority, they just happen to be a vocal minority. (With their tendency to yell out answers at the TV, lol)

I’m not trying to change anyone’s viewing habits here. I just figured I’d give a rational reason to people who don’t see the appeal of game shows. Thanks for reading!

Pretty good trey, you almost convinced me to watch game shows, but I’m afraid the only way I can sit through one of those is if there is absolutely nothing else on. I would much rather spend time commenting on on people’s blogs.

Sure it could be stimulating my brain cells and prolonging my capacity for storing information, but heck mate, I just don’t find them entertaining. I reckon I must be in the minority huh?

I used to watch The Price is Right every day, due to the viewing habits of my family. I will admit that I enjoyed it though, . Wheel and Jeopardy are great too, although I’m more partial to Jeopardy. I get the feeling that I’d get along with Alex Trebek more than I would with Pat and Vanna. I guess you’re right about liking the shows has a lot to do with liking the hosts!

Yep, I’ve certainly been addicted to them during various phases of my life. The Price Is Right since I was wee one. (I got pretty darn good as guessing the price of boxes detergents and such.) Used to watch Jeopardy and Wheel every night with my mother-in-law in Canada too, God rest her soul. She always said I should go on Jeopardy ’cause once in a while I got a few answers right. Just my luck — I’d get on the show and probably totally bomb like no other contestant had in the entire history of tv.

Liking the shows has a lot to do with liking the hosts, you do feel like you’re friends with them after a while.

And that whole keeping your olde grey matter from going too squishy is not a bad thing either!
