What your saying about how kids are told that horror movies is the work of the devil goes back to what I said about how responsible parents should make it clear that images on tv are not real. There's a difference between getting scared at a movie because it's scary, and getting scared because you think it's real. I think Silence of the Lambs is pretty dang creepy. I would place it among the intense movies, although I wouldn't necessarily call it horror. I know that scary movies aren't for everyone, but personally, I LOVE the thrill. Even though I am now in my 40's those statement my Grandmother told me are still stuck in my head. My daughter has a love hate with scary movies. She enjoys jumping out of her skin with 'monster' movies yet, Anthony Hopkins voice freaks her out. "I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye."
