It’s a brand new year here at Swollen Thumb Entertainment. I started this site almost one year ago today, and I decided that I would start a tradition for this company, which is to announce the plans for the year at the beginning of each year.
2009 was always intended to be the set-up year for Swollen Thumb Entertainment, because 2010 is the official start of the revolution that we are waging against the establishment of the entertainment world. When I said that “We’re Going To Stick Out”, I wasn’t just trying to think of a catchy slogan. I mean every bit of it!
To kick off the official start of Swollen Thumb Entertainment’s war on mediocre entertainment, I’ve got FOUR, count em’ FOUR major projects planned for 2010. When it’s all said and done, these four projects will be looked at as the beginning of something truly groundbreaking, and in the year 2020, or beyond, will be looked back upon fondly.![]()
The first of these projects is slated for a release date of March 20, 2010. The first official day of Spring! This project is called “Anti-Social” and is an album of instrumental music.
You see, all of the music that I’ve been putting out on this website has been practice for this album. This album consists of tracks that I have saved especially for it. All of the very best tracks that I have started over the last few years have been saved for this album.
Fourteen brand new pounding tracks of instrumental bliss are coming your way on March 20, 2010. This is the official start of a revolution, and I want each and every one of you in on the ground floor.
Coming soon, you’ll start seeing more promotion for this project. Expect a sampler to be out before the end of February as well.
It’s the beginning of an era…

Man, as soon as I saw that song title “Beware of the Dragon” I headed over to have a listen because I’ve always loved Dragons. I forgot my kids used up all my bandwidth so it’s way too slow at the moment. Will come back and have another try in a couple of days.
Anti Social sounds like a killer name for an Album. I wish you all the luck with that and anything else you put your mind to in 2010

@ Sire
I’m proud of my “Beware of The Dragon” track, because I think it’s one of my more solid tracks. And the feedback has been good, because it’s charted best on Soundclick so far. Makes me think that I should produce some more “headbanger” style tracks such as that one. Thanks for the support!
@ Jannie
Yeah, a date is important. It’s lighting a fire under me. I have too much pride to not deliver after announcing it to everyone, so now I’m working like a mad man! Thanks for the kind words!
@ John
Thanks for the kind words about the new layout. It’s not done yet, but I think it shows how serious I am about this business for 2010. And no prob about being real. It’s the only way that I know how to be. LOL.

Hey J, thanks a lot for the feedback. I’ve been waiting a LONG time for some real honest feedback to my music. There’s only been a few other people to do so, one of them being Sire, and it’s like the greatest feeling in the world to know that someone actually listened to my music and liked it.
Feel free to comment on any of the articles on here as well. Everyone is welcome to discuss on here, as long as they do it with respect.
Hey, that tinkle thing for your melody on Altar of Evil, was that a keyboard thing, or real tinkle bell? Cool music. Melody still ringing in my ears. Sound great with the under lying beat.

Hi Jannie. That was a sampler patch for Reason, located in the piano directory called “Tx Bell HiPass.sxt It’s a series of bell sounds that is mapped to various keys on the keyboard. As far as I know, they are real sounds, and not synthesized.
Thanks, “Altar of Evil” is one of my favorite tracks that I made. Sire liked it as well.
