I’m starting a new tradition for Fridays.

I’m doing this for two reasons:

First of all, I’ve been preaching for several months now about how important it is to network with other bloggers and to get to know people who blog, but I’ve been feeling that I haven’t been practicing what I preach. Well, that’s going to change because I intend to network with more quality bloggers, and this will give me a reason to do so.

Secondly, my readership for this blog is starting to rise, and I want to use the influence that I’m getting to help out other people.

First of all, you HAVE to check out Extreme John, who is, in my opinion, the current king of the blogosphere.  Sure there’s plenty of other bloggers who get more visitors or comments than he does, but the difference between these so called “A-List” bloggers and Extreme John is that he’s REAL.  He understands the concept of blogging… not as just a medium to broadcast your message or to make passive income, but as a way to exchange ideas, information, sexy pictures (lol), and MEET NEW PEOPLE.  Not to mention that Exteme John is an incredibly busy dude, with numerous REAL businesses of his own, yet he still finds time to crank out about a dozen posts a week AND comment on other people’s blogs.  Simply put, Extreme John is the bomb, and if you haven’t visited his blog yet, you don’t truly understand the definition of blogging.

Secondly, in what is one of the most original ideas that I have ever seen in the blogging world, we have Jim Hardin’s “Blogging Tips, Tricks, & Fun“.  Jim is truly a creative person, as a lot of his blogging advice comes in the form of “recipes”.  There’s no real way for me to do his posts justice, so all I can say is that you MUST check out what he has going on over there, because Jim has one of the most creative and fun blogs that I have seen in a really long time.

Next we have a new blogger who has an enthusiam for blogging that I have rarely seen.  The mysterious blogger behind “Ordinary to Outstanding” has quickly caught my attention as one of the potential breakthrough bloggers of 2010.  Literally, the blog is brand spankin’ new  (Less than a week and a half old).  Yet already, the blogger behind this site has FLOODED the site with numerous insightful posts.  The posts range from any number of topics, as the blog has yet to settle into a niche.  (And we all go through those types of adjustments when we start out).  I honestly believe in my heart, that if “Ordinary to Outstanding” sticks around for several months, it can grow to be one of the hottest new blogs in existance.  It’s just a matter of whether or not the blog can endure the longevity of the race, and not wear itself out in the beginning.
